Central Society Tsipianiton

The Central Society Tsipianiton (CST) is a Chicago-based organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Nestani village in Arcadia, Greece. Established in Chicago, Illinois, in 1926, the society was founded by Greek immigrants from Nestani (formerly known as Tsipiana) who sought to maintain strong ties to their ancestral homeland while building community in America.

The primary purpose of the CST is to conserve the history and culture of Nestani village and pass it down through generations. This includes organizing events, supporting scholarships for descendants, and fostering connections among members through picnics, dinners, and cultural celebrations that honor Arcadian traditions.

Affiliation with the Pan-Arcadian Federation of America

The Central Society Tsipianiton operates under the umbrella of the Pan-Arcadian Federation of America (PFA), a nationwide non-profit fraternal Greek-American organization founded in 1931 in New York. The PFA serves individuals of Arcadian descent and is one of the oldest Hellenic-American organizations, historically the second-largest after AHEPA. Its mission focuses on promoting Hellenism, preserving cultural heritage, and supporting charitable projects, including initiatives in Greece and the diaspora.
